These terms govern access to lequent.com, the Observatory, and any material published under the Lequent name. They are not a substitute for an engagement letter. Where you are a client, your engagement letter prevails.
By accessing the site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the site.
Nothing on this site constitutes legal, tax, investment or regulatory advice. The Observatory publishes findings the firm has retired from active mandates; those findings are descriptive, not prescriptive, and they do not establish a client relationship.
A client relationship with Lequent is formed only by a signed engagement letter that names the file, the parties, and the constituency members on the engagement.
The site, its design system, the Lequent name, and the visual signature (the dot fields and their motion language) are owned by Lequent S.r.l. and protected under EU intellectual-property law.
You may quote published findings with attribution and a link to the source. You may not reproduce the design system, copy the visual signature, or hold yourself out as Lequent or as acting on its behalf.
You agree not to (a) attempt to access non-public areas of the site or the engagement record of another party; (b) probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the site without prior written authorisation; (c) submit material that infringes any third-party right; (d) use the site to send unsolicited commercial communications.
We log unusual access patterns and we may suspend access without notice where we suspect a breach.
The site may link to or reference third-party material. We do not endorse it and we are not responsible for its content. Where a third party operates a service within our pages (calendaring, mail, document exchange), the privacy and terms of that service apply to that interaction.
The site is provided on an “as available” basis. We may add, modify or remove material at any time, and we may suspend the site for maintenance without notice. We do not commit to preserving any particular page or URL.
To the maximum extent permitted by Italian and EU law, Lequent S.r.l. is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, for gross negligence, or for any other liability that cannot be limited by law.
These terms are governed by Italian law. The courts of Milan have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from access to or use of the site, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have in your country of residence.
Material changes are recorded in the change log and dated at the head of this file. Continued use of the site after the change date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
